Pink has always been one of the boys and now, even more so – as the face of V8 Supercars Australia. Launching her 3 year tenure as ambassador for the sport last night, chairperson of V8, Tony Cochrane, explained why Pink. And his reasons for liking her seem much the same as ours. “She’s not afraid to be different. She’s bold, she’s outspoken and she’s unapologetic,” Cochrane told the SMH. “She’s the most popular modern day artist in this country by a very long margin,” he said. “I’m stoked about it, it’s awesome,” Pink said of her newest adventure. “We got to test drive the cars while we were there and it has been a really fun ride,” she said.
