Pink Hates Giving Songs Away But Likes Impressing Dad

Pink hates giving songs away, as any artist would, but she had so many songs written/recorded for Funhouse, it was hard to let them go. According to DailyStar.co.uk, she hated to let them go, but was happy that she impressed her dad with “Crystal Ball”.

The bad-ass chick, who rocked at last night’s MTV Entertainment Music Awards in Liverpool, topped the charts with Funhouse this week.

But if Pink, who grabbed the gong for Most Addictive Track, had got her way the record would have been a massive triple disc beast with 34 tracks.

She said: “I can be an arrogant asshole about my music and find it hard to give my songs away.

“It’s like getting rid of your children: ‘I like that one too, but I’m going to let that one die.’ The good thing now is there’s always a home for the other kids as extra tracks and B-sides.”

The So What star puts the success of her new record down to discovering her vulnerable side following the break-up of her marriage to motorcross racer Carey Hart, 33.

She said: “It’s helped both of us, because we had to figure out how we could have a really healthy friendship.

“Creating songs is my favourite part, but I’ve had consistent agony and joy.

“I’m a survival-oriented person – I think when I’m writing songs it’s my chance to be vulnerable.

“I’m useless when I’m happy. I find a lot of other artists – painters, film-makers and writers – are the same. I don’t find myself alone in thinking that happiness is useless as an emotion.”

Album highlight Crystal Ball is the song that best sums up Pink’s never-say-die attitude.

The 29-year-old’s dad likes it too, even if he does yell a bit too loud about it sometimes.

She revealed: “The day me and Carey split up, my dad came to hang out with me in New York and I played him that song.

“My dad gets really excited about music and he had the headphones on.

“He was like shouting: ‘Honey, this song is going to be a hit.’

“I’m like, ‘Dad, I’m right here, I can hear you.’

“I like the thought of exciting him.”

Well, the girl certainly excited the MTV EMA crowd in Liverpool last night. I’m looking forward to her Funhouse tour next year.

MTV EMAs Galore

Ted Casablanca of E! Online posted an article about what he thought of Pink’s dress at the MTV EMAs. I, personally, think she looked amazing. How about you guys?

There’s just something not right about Pink wearing a dress.

P-hon donned this frock at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and she looks kinda uncomfy in this type of couture. You so know she’d rather be riding a dirt bike in greased-up jeans and a T-shirt than waltzing down a red carpet, but guess attending these types of fancy do’s is part of the job.

First of all, this strange dress makes Pinkie appear as though she’s turning into a new type of tree with heavily tattooed branches. Plant-esque ain’t a good look on anyone. Secondly, Ms. P doesn’t have a waist in that thing. This broad babe sure is buff, but femininity she’s never excelled at. P shoulda just worn her B-day suit, it surely fits her better than this.

Pink vs. Katy Perry? Huh? According to MyParkMag.co.uk, Pink wasn’t liking Katy Perry’s song much last night at the EMAs..

Pink seemed determined to look at her best last night at the MTV EMA’s in Liverpool.

She looked very feminine and glamourous in her bronze coloured gown as she made her way into the Echo Arena.

Katy Perry also looked very glam in her red carpet blue dress, before she changed into an American footballer’s kit for the opening.

As she sang her hit single several celebrities in the audience clapped along.

It is rumoured that Pink is not Katy’s number one fan.

She told Gossip Girls: “What did I think of Perry’s song? I thought I Kissed a Girl was trivializing being gay.

“I’ve been speaking to my gay girlfriends about it, and they’re kinda put off by it. I’m not judging and comparing, though.”

Pink did have one reason to smile though, she picked up the Most Addictive Track Award for ‘So What.’
